Small manufacturing company has an opening for a full-time accounting clerk to provide support for the accounting and engineering departments.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Greeting customers and vendors
Answering multi-line phone system and directing to appropriate departments.
Processing incoming mail.
Scanning multiple documents and attaching correctly in the database.
High volume invoice matching, coding, checking for accuracy, and data entry.
Coding and reconciliation of credit card accounts.
Handling inquiries from vendors, reconciling monthly statements.
Creating invoices for same day spare part shipments.
Work with purchasing and receiving to resolve problems as they arise.
Other tasks as assigned to assist others.
Ability to lift 20 pounds on an infrequent basis.
Requirements for this position:
Basic accounting skills, knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and 10 key by touch.
Candidate should have prior experience in AP and/or AR, sharp attention to detail, organized, and self-motivated. Ability to work independently with little supervision and multitask. Medical benefits and paid vacation.
