HOTEL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT | $30,000/year + free housing + free utilities
We are a 100-room hotel in Garfield, Colorado (near Salida). We are 3 miles from the ski resort on Monarch Mountain with on-site living quarters available. We are looking for a reliable and efficient ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT to ensure daily office operations are performed in a seamless and efficient manner.

You will typically work 40 hours per week during peak-season. This position works weekends and holidays. The hours for this position may increase during holidays, group events and peak-season. The hours may decrease during off-season. This position requires previous experience.
Approximate Peak Season: December–March and June-August
Approximate Off-Season: April-May and September-October
Onsite living quarters and paid utilities are a part of the benefits package. Please see below under COMPENSATION (below). .

• Prepare and review operation reports
• Perform accurate research and analysis
• Calculate Cash Drops, Payroll and other databases
• Coordinating administrative procedures and devising ways to streamline tasks
• Develop budgets tracking progress on project and planning and organizing a calendar of event
• Help in developing policy and procedure updates
• Coordinate travel arrangements
• Help organize small to large scale events and provide ongoing assistance during events
• Compile, proofread and revise drafts of documents and reports
• Daily record keeping and filing of physical and cloud-based documents ensuring adequate flow of information
• Manage schedules and deadlines; oversee facilities services and activities
• Prepare reports and correspondences accurately and swiftly
• Organize and supervise office activities
• Create and organize information and generate reference tools for easy use
• Answer and screen telephone calls and respond to emails, messages, and other correspondences
• Operate and maintain office equipment (copier, scanner, etc.)
• Manage a busy personal and business calendar
• Friendly and Professional interaction with clients, customers, and department members
• Proficient in Word and Xcel

• 2+ years’ experience in an administrative role
• Highest level of integrity
• Proficient in Microsoft office, Excel is a MUST
• Punctual
• Bookkeeping skills
• Great time management skills
• Problem solver and self-disciplined
• Thorough understanding of clerical and secretarial principles
• Strong knowledge of databases and tracking systems
• Superb organization skills and detail oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Brilliant written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and can learn other apps quickly

• Pay: $30,000/year
