Jewelry Assistant needed for fair-trade jewelry company in Upstate, New York
(this position requires travel to at-home office)
You will be working directly with the CEO to organize, ship, manage and sell the jewelry, as well as brainstorming on social media initiatives and merchandising. We emphasize the intersection of social issues and creative solutions, so the ideal candidate would have experience in both, but it is not required.
managing inventory/Shopify website
admin help with ordering tickets, following compliance guidelines for all account management (detail oriented applicants apply here!)
organizing jewelry and packaging
brainstorming way to increase social media reach and following
researching sales opportunities - local and nationwide
graphic design capabilities a plus, but not mandatory
â€¢ 2-3 years of jewelry, fashion, art experience preferred
â€¢ Proficient skills in MS Office & skills in Adobe Creative Suite a plus!
â€¢ Demonstrated creative ability
â€¢ Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
â€¢ Ability to prioritize and manage workload with multiple deadlines.
â€¢ Team player.
â€¢ Ability to travel to at home office in Accord, NY
â€¢ $25/hour -20-25 hours per week
