L.K. Jordan is currently seeking a Helpdesk Support Technician for a 1-year contract with a local university starting as soon as possible! Candidates should have at least 1-2 years of experience in a demonstrated Helpdesk role or other IT based position. Candidates will be working on-site and be expected to troubleshoot a variety of desktop, infrastructure, and networking issues over the phone or by remoting in. Hours are Monday â€“ Friday with Saturdays as needed and hours ranging from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM depending on needs of the day, however most days will be 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pay will be $20.00 - $30.00/hourly depending on experience.

â€¢ Provides answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps.
â€¢ Improves client references by writing and maintaining documentation.
â€¢ Participates in development of client training programs by identifying learning issues and recommending instructional language.
â€¢ Accommodates client disabilities by recommending devices and techniques.
â€¢ Avoids legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreements.
â€¢ Improves system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.
â€¢ Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
â€¢ Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
â€¢ If applicant does not have an IT based degree, candidates can have a combination of certifications and experience to be considered
â€¢ Must have a High School Diploma or GED
â€¢ Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
â€¢ Must have a valid Driverâ€™s License and Reliable Transportation
