San Diego Elder Law Center is looking for direct assistance in our Accounting/Asset Collection/Public Benefits area. We are a full-service Estate Planning, Trust and Probate firm which all center on the initial asset identification process. We are very tech-savvy and currently all working together remotely but will transition to full-time in office, when safe to do so.

We are anticipating this to be an entry level position upon hire, but there is significant growth opportunity within the firm. Candidates with directly related experience are encouraged to apply.
This unique position requires heavy client interaction and follow up, keen attention to detail, case management from start to finish, the ability to simultaneously manage multiple conflicting deadlines, and a large volume of paperwork. Pleasant demeanor and great personality are a must! You must enjoy phone work and working with people.
To be considered for this position you should possess the following:
Bachelorâ€™s Degree or higher (REQUIRED)
Background in banking, bookkeeping or heavy account reconciliation (Quickbooks, Quicken, highly
Excellent â€œnumber senseâ€ and enjoy working with numbers
Good to excellent computer skills, especially Excel and Office Suite
Highly organized self-starter
Excellent communication, phone etiquette, and writing skills
Not less than 2 yearsâ€™ office experience
Other desirable qualifications will include:
Experience with practice management software (Time Matters, Abacus, etc.)
Preparation of Court Accountings (Very highly desirable)
Case management experience (start to finish)
Law Office experience helpful, but not required.
Familiarity with banking and investment statements
Familiarity with public benefits such as Medi-Cal, SSI, or Veterans Benefits
