Join Homefix Custom Remodeling as an IT Project Manager and help build strategies, culture, and systems that solve complex and interesting business problems. This position is located at our corporate offices in Laurel, MD.
The IT Project Manager interacts with internal end users, stakeholders, partners, and strategic vendors to ensure an excellent experience while delivering technical solutions. This position provides leadership and strategy on industry trends.
What Youâ€™ll Do
Manage the execution of IT projects.
Oversee planning and implementation of CRM and ERP system(s)
Evaluate complex situations accurately and identify viable solutions that create successful outcomes
Develop and maintain lessons-learned documentation for utilization on future projects
Provide both verbal and written communications regarding project status, risks, and issues, and makes recommendations on project decisions
Manage allocation of resources to meet work fluctuations and budget and time constraints
Serves as subject matter expert, providing technical and analytical guidance to the project teams
Use agile project management methods, to prioritize, define, execute, and deliver project results
Lead team in identifying the root cause of problems and implementing durable solutions.
Work with department heads to provide support and coordination and to ensure seamless adoption of the new system and business processes
Assist with managing contracts and vendors assigned to delegated initiatives included in the assigned projects
Help the organization mature through industry best practices such at ITIL
Minimal travel required as projects or tasks demand
Key Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of IT and business experience in strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms
Out of the 8 years required, at least 5 years in a combination of the following: Progressive broad-based information systems Project Management experience (which could include consulting) with state-of-the-art hardware and software systems is desirable; knowledge and implementation experience in cloud computing environments as well as on-premise.
Experience with CRM/ERP implementation a plus
BS in Computer Science or related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
