Our Automotive Receptionist/Cashier will:

â€¢ Represent Midas by being the direct point of contact for all customers.
â€¢ Consistently provide excellent customer service in all areas.
â€¢ Provide customers with an explanation of necessary vehicle repairs and suggested maintenance.
â€¢ Communicate with customers in a professional, timely manner; courteous and friendly.
â€¢ Work productively and efficiently without taking shortcuts.
â€¢ Assist in maintaining the overall appearance of the shop, and customer waiting areas.
â€¢ Consistently follow all shop policies and procedures.
â€¢ Generate customer estimates and invoices.
â€¢ Handle all payments and transactions.
â€¢ Assist Shop Manager with opening and closing routines.
â€¢ Minimum of two years automotive sales and/or customer service experience required.
â€¢ Some prior automotive experience or knowledge of automotive repair services required.
â€¢ Must be comfortable in an automotive retail / vehicle repair ; maintenance environment.
â€¢ Outstanding customer service skills; displays a friendly, helpful attitude towards all customers.
â€¢ Have a willingness to learn and build upon automotive technical knowledge.
â€¢ Able to lift 40 lbs, and continuously move around all areas of the shop.
â€¢ Familiarity with a POS software system to generate estimates and invoices.
â€¢ Possession of a valid driver's license.
â€¢ Strong customer service orientation and a high level of professional integrity.
â€¢ Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including saturdays .
â€¢ Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts
â€¢ Strong telephone, verbal and written communication skills
