Our company has an immediate need for a skilled Full Service Bookkeeper with HR experience. The ideal candidate must have experience and live within 20 miles of the Sanford/Lake Mary area.

This is a full-time work from home position AND also requires the ability to pickup incoming checks weekly from the local post office.

This position requires someone who is self-motivated, resourceful and can successfully complete daily tasks with minimal supervision in a virtual setting.

Business hours are Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 6:00pm EST. This position REQUIRES a quiet work space with reliable high speed internet during working hours.

In this role, you will manage payroll, accounts payable/receivables as well as doing collections on a monthly basis. Reconciling the books and working closely with the owner regarding the finances, status, taxes etc.. Collect all incoming checks from the local post office box weekly. Must have valid drivers license and reliable vehicle in order to do so. Apply payments accordingly and deposit checks weekly. Process credit card transactions and verifications daily. Create and send receipts to clients for signature. Import invoices and run scheduled and ad hoc reports. Will also manage all onboarding for new employees as needed. This includes but not limited to: new hire paperwork, background checks, ordering equipment, new setup in all system and platforms etc… In addition, you will also track employee’s paid time off and benefits in accordance with company policy. Plus any miscellaneous tasks assigned by the owner in order to help drive efficiencies within accounting/human resources.

To be successful, you will be proficient in QuickBooks and have advanced MS Excel in order to run pivot tables and do reports. Adaptability in learning new platforms and software as the company changes.
