The Sign Connection, LLC, is a rapidly growing, full service sign company located in Vernon CT. offering design, fabrication, service and installation. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Graphic Design / Vinyl Sign Production person that will work in an environment that is interesting, challenging and fast paced. We are looking to fill a position full time position requires experience in computer graphics, vinyl cutting & application. Must have hands-on experience with sign making software, such as Signlab or Adobe Illustrator.

We are strictly seeking candidates with sign shop experience, and due to our work load are looking to expand in our production department as well as design.

We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter - who is well grounded and looking for a future - to join our team.

Salary and incentives are very competitive and will be commensurate with candidate's experience.

We are seeking a dynamic,career-orientated, self-motivated, well grounded person to work as a full time Creative Graphic Designer and production specialist. We are looking for someone who is looking for a solid future.


This unique role incorporates both aspects of customer service and Graphic Design. It will require you to consult with customers at the front counter as well as perform creative and production Graphic Design responsibilities efficiently and effectively. The role will require utilizing design skills with the latest design software and computers to create designs that meet client's communication needs!

Responsibilities include:

-Work on creative projects from concept to production
-Effectively communicate with clients to understand and deliver design material to their satisfaction
-Respond to and follow up on customer inquiries
-Receive customer supplied files, pre-flight and Rip to production equipment
-Support sales with clients in effectively conveying their message in print or electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography, and other various techniques
-Remain up to date on changes in the graphic design industry
-Interpret customer requests
-follow up on quotes

Qualifications:

-Minimum 5year's experience with creative projects AT A SIGN SHOP
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to problem solve and be solutions oriented
-Highly detailed with strong organizational and time management skills
-The ability to learn new software quickly
-Professional customer service demeanor
-Highly responsive to customer needs
-Ability to create and maintain customer relationships
-Ability to coordinate multiple schedules
-Adobe creative suite experience required
-Understand the basic sales and marketing process preferred
-Experience in the Graphics Arts and Printing industry preferred
-College degree with a Graphics Design major a plus

Hours: Full time, 8-5 m-f
