HIRE TYPE - 1099/Independent Contractor - local remote with confirmed prior long-term success in this setting type; contractor must provide ALL equipment and meet minimum equipment requirements
ROLE - Collecting open balances, account follow up and account maintenance. *** Must be able to identify why an account is not paid and how to resolve balance. Background in medical billing, health insurance, and medical recovery/collections. THIS IS NOT A MEDICAL BILLING ROLE.
AVAILABILITY - Normal business hours, early evening hours (no later than 7:00 pm weekdays) and possibly one Saturday a month, flexible start / end times. A regular schedule will be set/expected. Approximately 15-20 hrs / week.
SKILL SET - Must exhibit ownership mentality/excellent self-management of accounts and results. Must thrive in an independent setting. Collections/healthcare accounts balance resolution and EXCELLENT customer service. Intermediate computer skills. Must follow compliance protocol. Must be organized/detailed with integrity and dependability. Must be able to efficiently navigate multiple software applications. Bi-lingual English/Spanish ideal..
OTHER - $15.00 / hour. Background and reference check will be required.
