Twenty-one year old Chicago based IT Services company is expanding and looking for courteous and reliable tech support personnel. You will be working as part of a team and learning/growth opportunities will be available.

Requirements:

• Basic troubleshooting skills for PC issues
• Strong attention to detail
• Organized
• Polite and professional communication style, even if under pressure
• Being flexible when priorities and plans change due to unforeseen circumstances
• Having a car and being willing and able to drive to client sites as needed. The majority of our local clients are in the North Side of Chicago and Northern suburbs
• Ability to sometimes work outside of regular business hours when the situation requires

Responsibilities (subject to evolve and change):

• Provide first-level support. Escalate as needed and communicate with clients to provide status updates.
• Drive to client sites in the Chicagoland area for installation and troubleshooting
• 5% travel within the US for larger implementations
• Work onsite and remotely to troubleshoot issues with PCs, printers, scanners, and other peripherals
• Set up new PCs, phones, and software
• Run updates for existing software on PCs
• Troubleshoot software issues such as email, websites, etc

We are open to part or full time to start. Compensation will be based on experience and capabilities.
