â€¢ Basic troubleshooting skills for PC issues
â€¢ Strong attention to detail
â€¢ Polite and professional communication style, even if under pressure
â€¢ Being flexible when priorities and plans change due to unforeseen circumstances
â€¢ Having a car and being willing and able to drive to client sites as needed. The majority of our local clients are in the North Side of Chicago and Northern suburbs
â€¢ Ability to sometimes work outside of regular business hours when the situation requires
Responsibilities (subject to evolve and change):
â€¢ Provide first-level support. Escalate as needed and communicate with clients to provide status updates.
â€¢ Drive to client sites in the Chicagoland area for installation and troubleshooting
â€¢ 5% travel within the US for larger implementations
â€¢ Work onsite and remotely to troubleshoot issues with PCs, printers, scanners, and other peripherals
â€¢ Set up new PCs, phones, and software
â€¢ Run updates for existing software on PCs
â€¢ Troubleshoot software issues such as email, websites, etc
We are open to part or full time to start. Compensation will be based on experience and capabilities.
