Event Producer - Virtual Event Management

The Event Producer will be responsible for operational support and delivery of live and collaborative web conference events for our clients. Using a variety of virtual event platforms, the Event Producer will schedule events, build registration pages, provide customer support, assemble reporting, moderate sessions as the broadcast host and deliver training as needed for client users.

Estimated Hours: As needed - Usually 10-20 hours a week. Sometimes more if available.

Work Hours: Typically Monday-Friday - 7AM-11AM (Pacific), plus some possible afternoons/overnights (as needed)

Due to business requirements, candidates must reside in the states of Washington or Idaho.

• Moderate live webcast events as broadcast host, managing audience questions and providing user support
• Run webcasting services for clients
• Provision webcast on client event platform
• Build registration page(s) within client event management system
• Hold kickoff call with client and gather event details
• Update information within webcast catalog (SharePoint site)
• Create event documentation (schedules, reminder mails, training documents)
• Drive deliverable dates with clients for collateral (PowerPoint, pre-recorded video, polling questions, surveys, etc.) ensuring that deadlines are met
• Build event invitation and process via client-based invite tool
• Conduct presenter training sessions to instruct presenters on how to use platform
• Escalate event issues during sessions as needed
• Coordinate with in-studio video team on day of event
• Assemble reporting post-event
• Load replay files to client platform(s) as needed
• Participate in and manage other activities that may be assigned

• You are an outgoing, confident individual who can adapt to various work styles
• You are proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including: Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook and Word
• You have worked with Microsoft SharePoint or other online database solutions
• You have 1-2 years of experience working in the event management, hospitality, guest services or collaborative web conference industry
• You are familiar with online collaborative/event delivery platforms, such as: Teams, Skype for Business, Skype Broadcast, Yammer, WebEx, GoToMeeting, Zoom, or Adobe Connect
• You can remain calm and "think on your feet" in a crisis
• You can develop work-arounds to help solve problems
• You have a proven record to multi-task under tight deadlines
• You have a passion for learning and applying new technology
• You have a courteous and professional business manner and strive for great service
• You have a good eye for detail and catch the little things that others often miss
• You work well with minimal supervision
• You have strong communication skills (both written and oral)
• Ideally, you are familiar with audio/video production
• This role primarily works remotely from home
