Just because your employer hires you as a salaried employee or an independent contractor, does not necessarily mean you are exempt from overtime pay. If you do not have the necessary "discretion" or authority at work, you must be classified and paid as an employee. This includes being paid overtime.
Misclassified IT workers can be owed large amounts of overtime.
Our law firm has represented California workers for 18 years. If you think you are misclassified in your IT job, please email us for a free and timely evaluation of your situation. All communication are held strictly confidential. We take all cases on full contingency and cover all costs. You pay us zero.
