Our company is seeking an experienced WooCommerce web developer to join our fast-paced remote team. This is a full stack development position where you’ll be responsible for building, improving, and maintaining a variety of custom WooCommerce websites. Familiarity with the latest website trends and plugins is a must. You are:

-A proven WooCommerce expert
-Incredibly detail-oriented, flexible, reliable, and comfortable working independently
-Always learning about the latest trends and eager to implement them
-An excellent communicator, comfortable interfacing with internal project managers, designers, writers, and clients to meet company goals
-Passionate about developing user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing websites

Required skills:

-Proficient in front-end/back-end languages and frameworks including PHP, MySQL, CSS3, SASS, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, and APIs
-Expertise in web and responsive/mobile layouts
-Deep understanding of WordPress/WooCommerce architecture, established experience developing websites using WordPress and WooCommerce extensions
-Understanding of OOP principles and architecture
-Knowledge of User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI)
-Ability to integrate memberships, subscriptions, payment gateways, SSL, and hosting platforms for ecommerce websites
-Server configuration and management
-Experience with code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, and SVN

Responsibilities:

-Develop, build, integrate, manage and enhance multiple WordPress websites/themes/plugins front-end and back-end
-Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize WooCommerce custom plugins/extensions
-Modify and migrate existing dev and client sites
-Monitor live website performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure an excellent user experience
-Manage and communicate project results and status as needed to the team
-Implement best practices
-Google Analytics reporting
