So here's the deal. If you think PHP stands for "Purple Hippo Party," then you probably aren't the right person. If you're a programming and etymology geek, however, and can speak to the issue of PHP as a recursive acronym that denotes "Hypertext Preprocessor," then we can talk. (And you should know what PHP meant way back in the day.)
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Analysis, development and deployment of websites using standardized processes and development guidelines
• Develop, maintain and expand website content, administration tools and site functionality, within project specifications
• Provide time estimates for development of web projects
• Strong ability to solve problems, troubleshoot and sharpen web apps and code
• Stay abreast of new technology. (Research and acquire new skills through independent study.)
• Play a direct role in maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of company-used technologies and code
• Work closely with the client services team
Specifically looking for a rising star with:
• Experience implementing Drupal and/or WordPress and/or Joomla and their modules
• Experience implementing Magento and modules
• Certification in web-related technologies is a gold star
• Experience working in a fast-paced, agency-type environment means two gold stars
Required Technical Wizardry (aka, Skills)
• Strong knowledge of one or more content-management systems
• Experience in installing and configuring other off-the-shelf/open-source PHP solutions, as well as writing code from scratch
• Strong attention to detail (Is that a mustard stain on you shirt?)
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Schraff (http://www.schraff.com) provides outstanding creative and technological solutions. Above all, though, we always always (yeah, twice) deliver rock-star client service. As a potential Schraffologist, you must be able to work in an environment that is creative, fun, fast-paced, sometimes wacky, but continually driven by the passion to succeed.
Send us your resume and a well-reasoned cover letter, along with your salary desires.
