We are in need of a technical support specialist. No degree necessary but need experience in technical support for PC users. Start will be 20-30 hours per week and ramping up to 40 hours per week within 6 months. Prefer to start a successful candidate as a 1099 employee with transition to W2 at 90 days. Daily tasks will include:

-responding to user tickets for technical support
-Monitoring system health via remote monitoring and management platform
-Customer checkins with existing customer base
-50% will be remote support and 50% will involve traveling to customer locations (all within 20 miles of Bethlehem PA)
-Rarely we may need weekend or evening assistance but this would be scheduled well in advance.
-Occasional travel to other states if interested but not a requirement
-For remote support you will work from home so you will need an internet connection and reliable transportation.
