A Bit About The Job...
We’re looking for a Field ServiceTechnician who will both install and service complex heavy duty vehicle telematics systems and work as an expert to train, assist and support our third party service provider network across the US. We work with very large commercial and industrial customers who have vehicles and depots located all across the country; This job will involve travel and working unsupervised at clients locations.
The systems that we install are pretty complex with multiple sensors across the vehicle as well as in cab display and the central hub system which requires a knowledge of both automotive electronics and how to get at all the right access points on large commercial vehicles.

A Bit About You...
You are the face and delivery of our product so being professional, on time and working to a high standard is a must. You will be working remotely at customer sites and there can be a lot of variance between different designs in Commercial vehicles and challenges in getting access to deliver a professional high quality installation. You must be able to think on your feet and use both your Automotive Electrical experience and problem solving skills to deliver on the customers expectations. As all installations are different you need to ensure that you are supplying accurate paperwork on time to ensure that invoices can be sent out and that the customer is kept informed on the delivery of the project, including coordination of parts and labor on-site. We can win contracts for installation from anything from 20 to 8000 vehicles for a customer so keeping them informed is really important. You are someone that doesn't just pass on a problem if you can't immediately solve it - if you hit an error with paperwork or a problem with a customer you will find the error and make sure it is dealt with because you understand that delays will impact installation and our reputation with our installer network and customers.
When you see an issue you find a solution and recommend changes to process if there is something that can be done to improve how we are doing business. We are a growing business and as we grow we need to be constantly looking for ways we can better meet our customer needs. You are a vital piece do discovering and making those changes.
