HVAC SHEETMETAL FOREMAN (Lake Forest, CA) - skilled trades / artisan - job employment

We are looking for an experienced HVAC/Sheet Metal Foreman within the new construction light commercial industry to oversee our new projects in Lake Forest, CA and CA area. Individual will attend project meetings, create project schedules, coordination with other trades(electricians, plumbers, drywallers, etc.),hiring and supervise installers, perform and oversee sheet metal and accessories layout, ordering and installation (exhaust, supply, return, venting, dampers, louvers, grease duct, chutes, insulation, etc. ), refrigeration piping ordering and installation including long line applications, installation and start-up of Heating & Cooling systems, equipment, accessories and controls (Heat pumps, RTUs, MAUs, Heaters, Ptacs, Water source heat pumps, Exhaust fans, Energy recovery units, Fluid Coolers, Boilers, Pumps, Condensate lines, Thermostats, BAS systems, Wiring, Register, etc. ) We are interest in someone that can-do jobs from start to finish within budget.

General Duties & Responsibilities
• Enforces and performs all work adhering to company’s safety policy and OSHA Mandated Requirement
• Develop proactive and long-term relationships with GC and local inspectors
• Organize Daily/Weekly/Monthly project schedule to adhere to budgeted time frames and adjust accordingly
• Attend necessary meetings and coordinate with other trades to ensure our work is done within schedule and project a professional image
• Completes pre/post project forms as required
• Verifies material to be order, sheet metal take offs and layouts-plans work with installers
• Set clear objectives, goals and expectations of installers and hold them accountable
• Communicates with office on a regular basis and notify them of any project/employee issues
• Computer literate and properly document project history through daily/weekly/monthly reports, pictures and forms
• Interpret & understands project contract, scope of work, specifications, blueprints, addendums and properly document change orders
• Implement jobsite system for tracking, storing and stocking of sheet metal, supplies and equipment
• Interpret & understands company policies and communicates them proactively to employees
• Studies & understands installation of project equipment and submittals
• Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within our industry
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, quality of product a profit
• Analyzes and resolves project and personal problems, or assist in solving them
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
• Assist and coordinates startup of installed equipment
• Ensures "As Built" drawings are updated on a daily basis
• Assists in recruiting, interviews, disciplinary action, reviews, and human resource decisions

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• High School diploma or GED
• HVAC Certifications or adequate training
• 5-10 years field experience in HVAC/Sheet metal/Service supervising
• EPA Certification
• Blue Print/Drafting and project software knowledge
• Knowledgeable and experienced with new construction projects from start to finish
• Knowledgeable and experienced with computers and proper documentation
• Own Truck and Current driver's license/Insurance (Truck Allowance provided)
• 30 HR Dept of Labor Construction OSHA Card or obtained within 4 weeks of hire

VRV-VAV-Daikin Certification/Knowledge a big ++++++
