Small networking company needs a reliable and motivated computer systems administrator to assist with a variety of Linux and networking-based projects.

No degree required. 10-20 hours per week in casual office environment or work from home (although on-site work will be the norm mostly).
Familiarity with the following is preferred however THE ABILITY TO LEARN AND ADMINISTER INDEPENDENTLY is the most important characteristic in a candidate.
- BASH scripting
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Docker implementation
- General computer networking impleentation (setting up, tearing down interfaces, VLAN's, VPNs, and static outing on Linux)
- Virtual Machine administration (We use ProxMox)
Candidate will be creating and configuring VM servers as well as dockerized images, creating relationships between servers (networking, logging, vpns, vlans etc) and especially DOCUMENTING how our systems are set up.
While regular hours will be set, the ideal candidate will be able to respond to questions outside of normal business hours (however this will NOT be an "on-call" situation for the candidate, merely be prepared to get an e-mail or text regarding your on-the-clock work as our project proceeds)
