GRACE GOW STUDIO // Office + Sales Assistant
The ideal candidate is someone who will bring organization and fresh business processes to the GRACE GOW studio and manage the daily operations + support sales efforts in an efficient manner.
Are you a to-do list maker? Excited when things are in order and neat and tidy? Do you keep your eye on many small details at a time, and checking in on the master project schedule regularly to see where things are? Then you could be the next GRACE GOW Studio Assistant.
GRACE GOW is seeking a studio assistant who is ready to shine in our growing small business.
There are TWO main kinds of work:
1. Help to drive -commerce sales (online) through Shopify, social media, etc.
2. Support general jewelry studio office administration.
One important note: although a love and passion for jewelry is great, it's not a requirement. No former jewelry experience needed.
You will work directly with the owner and learn about what it takes to run and grow a small business while working in an open space with good creative vibes.

Update website with new content and images
Update email marketing service with new content and images
Provide Customer Service (via Email correspondence, occasionally phone)
Maintain/update Master Project board
Digital image upload + photo management of our library
Ship orders / Order processing
Vendor contacts re: ongoing projects; estimating; scheduling
Ability to photograph and catalog items
Deploy creative content to social media management channels
This position is 10-20 hours a week.
Tuesdays and Thursdays
Compensation depends on experience.
Studio is located on Vashon Island, a few minutes drive from the North End terminal, connecting to Fauntleroy, West Seattle.
-Work directly with the owner to concept, plan, execute marketing ideas
-Manage invoices, expenses and payments
-Process, package and send online orders
-Coordinate and direct GRACE GOW staff pursuant to directions from the owner
-Assist in managing studio logistics, equipment and supplies needs, staffing schedules, and other support needs as appropriate
-Exercise a proactive and prudent outlook
-Manage all GRACE GOW social media accounts
-Conduct Website updates
-Analyze web data and create reports
-Manage incoming GRACE GOW emails from organizing to responding
-Managing the studio space in clean, professional manner including cleaning, taking of trash, ordering supplies
-Coordinate events and shows
-Provide customer service, via phone, events or in studio.
-**Independent, problem-solving proactive thinker**
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Applications
-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
-Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary
-Some working knowledge of the principles of office management and the administrative processes necessary to support the operations of a business, such as purchasing, inventory, and financial monitoring.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Must have your own laptop
-Working knowledge of Shopify
