We're looking for an addition to our team! We're a growing award-winning studio that does both custom remodeling design and interior decorating for discerning residential clients primarily in SF and on the Peninsula.

If you're a motivated assistant who has had at least 1 or 2 internships with other high-end residential design firms, we're interested in meeting you. You may be on your way to getting your design degree, or you may have recently graduated. Either way, we need a highly detail-oriented and organized individual for 20-25 hrs/week who can assist the Principal designer with keeping all the project balls in the air without letting any of them drop. Your "no job too small" credo is a part of who you are. You're eager to learn and want to put your academic training to use in the real world.

Requirements:
*Can work remotely and has familiarity with Google Docs
*Available for in-person status meetings at least 1x/week.
*Familiarity with Ivy project management and billing software a plus, but will train.
*Knows their way around the SF Design Center for furniture, fabric, tile, and lighting sourcing
*Loves kitchen and bath design as much as interior decorating
*Proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office apps, and Adobe Creative Suite
*Sketch-up or other 3D modeling proficiency a plus
*Must have own car for sample pick-ups/returns, will call order pick-ups, and job site deliveries, as necessary.
*Assist with site measures, inspections, final installations, and styling for photo shoots
*Will develop hard-copy job site spec books for general contractor collaboration.
*Will place and track orders with vendors; be the liaison to receivers.

This is a 1099 position with opportunity to grow. Please email your resume with the subject line "(Last Name)_Assistant Designer" and include pdfs of (2) CAD samples and up to (5) other portfolio samples.

We look forward to meeting you! No recruiters, please.
