One of the world’s leading creators of apps for Amazon Alexa, Matchbox.io is in search of a Lead Voice Application Developer to create new, cutting edge voice applications.

Reporting to the CEO, our Lead Voice Application Developer position will help to develop our new applications in the emerging world of multi-modal voice applications, as well as maintain our existing applications. This role requires the ability to plan and manage projects while working in a collaborative environment with the CEO and other groups within the organization.

Necessary skills include:
Node.JS (including callbacks, synchronous and asynchronous functions)
NoSQL databases (DynamoDB or MongoDB)
JSON
Amazon AWS
Lambda functions
REST APIs
Source Control Management, ideally Git

Ideally a strong candidate has experience with:
A voice application platform, such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or Samsung Bixby
SSML
Game development
Analytic skills

This is a remote position with a flexible schedule. Compensation is commensurate with experience. This role has the potential to be an equity position in the organization after the standard vesting period.
