This is a full-time position for ten months every year. Our busiest months of the year are August through May, when schools are in session, so this position requires at least 40 hours a week during those months. That means you have June and July off, just like when you were in school! You return to work August 1st for the start of each school year.
Our hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday. Our new hires will work a permanent shift; either 7-4, 8-5, or 9-6 EST. Training will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday for 4-6 weeks. The position starts at $17 per hour. We offer paid time off and health insurance coverage. You work from your home office--no travel is necessary.
Education or experience in a writing-intensive field preferred (e.g., English, Communications, etc.)
Strong computer skills and the ability to type at least 60 wpm
Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills
Experience in customer service
Ability to start training on July 8th
A great attitude and a desire to do your best work every day
Computer that is not older than 4 years
A stable and reliable wired internet connection with minimum download speeds of 15 mbps
