Digital Trends is looking for a freelance writer to contribute articles in the photography section. The bulk of the work revolves around detailed how-to, comparison, and buying guides that keep our readers informed about the latest photography gear. We want to help readers choose the right gear and teach them how to use it. Writers may also be asked to attend events on behalf of Digital Trends, report on the news as it breaks, and go hands-on with devices as they're revealed.

A passion for photography is required. Familiarity with WordPress is a plus. The brand flag you wave – Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic, or other -- is less important than your general experience with, and love for, photography. Writers are expected to have a good working knowledge of all brands in the space.
