Contract Physical Therapist for Rapidly Growing Company - healthcare - job employment

City: Fort lauderdale
Date: 14 Mar 2019
Category: Medical / Health

We are a four-year-old medical technology company that has created and patented a revolutionary orthopedic rehabilitation device. Response to the new device has been very strong, with endorsement by more than 100 highly respected surgeons nationwide. First versions of the device have been sold into more than 75 hospitals and clinics including many of the top 20 facilities in the country.

We are now nearing completion of our second product, a portable version of our first flagship device. A growing list of surgeons are pre-ordering the product in anticipation of launch.

The company has been well funded, having raised $12.6 million dollars to date. Our management team is comprised of accomplished entrepreneurs that have founded and built multiple successful companies and taken two of these public on the NASDAQ.

Now, we are looking for a contract Physical Therapist in the Miami area to help us with a few patients in and around Miami, on a 3-month project (with potential for ongoing work, if desired))).

The position will be responsible for the following process:
Deliver our portable devices to 10 different patients and show them how to use the device (simple training will be provided)
Check in with the patient every week (up to 20 patients per week) and record their status using our patient form
After 90 days, pick up the device and take it back to the company's storage

You must have reliable transportation to travel throughout the Miami area
Able to carry each device (about 30 pounds each)
Flexible to start as soon as possible and committed to seeing this project through (3 month commitment)

It is important that this Physical Therapist is in the Miami/Aventura area. Qualified candidates, please respond with an up-to-date resume, and a cover letter explaining why you are a fit for this job. This position has the potential to develop into a long-term opportunity where the Physical Therapist can work on larger scale clinical studies in the future.

Finally, openness, honesty, and candidness are qualities we respond to--as opposed to framing things in the right way with the right words. Please be who you are and let the dice roll.

Thank you for your interest.
