Busy firm providing specialized services to the engineering, government and utility sector in seven western states, seeks experienced paralegal to guide risk management efforts. Duties would include:

*Review consulting agreements between firm and engineering, government and utility clients.
*Draft proposed revisions to consulting agreements to mitigate firm's risk.
*Draft agreement summaries to guide managers and project managers overseeing the work to be performed.
*Draft subconsulting agreements between firm and companies that firm engages to provide ancillary services for an awarded project.
*Review insurance certificates/documents as needed to determine if minimum contract requirements are being met.
*Teach managers and project managers the basics of risk management as it relates to industry contracts.
*Assist with marketing efforts as they relate to risk management.
This is a part-time position. The expected workload is between 20-30 hours per week. The successful applicant can work from home most of the time, but will need to come into the office probably once a week. Some travel may be required a few times per year. This is a perfect position for a retired paralegal or attorney who wants some extra income or something to do.
