We are looking for a highly motivated team member to work as Sr. System Engineer in support of one of our US Federal Government agency. We are looking for the Jack of all trades, hands-on engineer, fast learner, can easily understand and adopt new technology. Expect 20% travel but mostly working from home but only within the US

• Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Security, etc.)
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in industry
- Minimum 1-2 years as Security Specialist/SME Level
- Requires holding prior clearance at any level
• Preferred
- Master's Degree in related area
- 3-5 years as Security Specialist/SME Level

Position Description
The Security SME position provides both a technical and policy implementation/service of security to our clients. This position has a primary focus for US Federal Clients as opposed to commercial, and requires deep understanding of FedRAMP/FISMA Standards, polices, procedures. It is important that this individual is able to work independently to support security work and reach out to project teams for necessary items and affiliated tasks accordingly.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for maintenance and creation of FISMA Documentation (SSP, Audit Plans, Configuration Plans, DR Plans, etc.)
• Responsible for participation and leadership in Annual FISMA/FedRAMP Audit/Artifact Collection Process
• Responsible for monthly/quarterly review of all security documentation for updates and general project updates that affect related documents
• Responsible for auditing compliance reports (Policy Checker, Nessus, Tripwire, etc.) for identification and addressing any vulnerabilities present
• Responsible for adhering to NIST 800-53 and other agency specified security requirements to address all possible vulnerabilities
• Responsible for addressing/managing POAMs and other RBDs for security implementations
• Able to address and design additional security measures/standards as needed for specified environments
• Prior experience with virtualized environments on-premise and in cloud
• Prior experience with Microsoft Server 2008/2012/2012 R2/2016, Server Roles, Active Directory, Group Policy
• Ability to travel to Washington DC/Northern VA for client sites on an as-needed basis
• Ability to travel within the United States up to 4 weeks a year
