What you will be doing:
He/she will be the point of contact for select customer projects. As an invaluable team member, he/she will be owning the complete life cycle of Cisco UC projects including:
ï€ª "Hands on" engineering of the conversions from other existing voice platforms to Cisco UC
ï€ª Upgrading when/where necessary
ï€ª Building and installing new rollouts from start to finish including troubleshooting when/if issues arise.
What they're looking for in a new team member:
â€¢ Must have strong "hands on" Cisco UC engineering
â€¢ Must have strong knowledge of Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), collaboration solutions, telepresence, spark, videoconferencing, etc. Experience including call flow and scripting is a Plus
â€¢ Must be a superstar communicator both written and verbal including:
o Proven project management skills & a strong acumen for documentation
o Swimming comfortably between customer and teams involving customer project report statuses, deadlines etc.
â€¢ NOTE Must be Cisco Certified! CCNA minimum. The higher the certs and the experience will drive base salary! CCIE is MOST desirable.
â€¢ Ability to travel in and around the Charlotte, NC area (10%-15% when needed to Customer sites)
â€¢ Must have a clean background and be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Travel & Remote: How much travel is there? And the definition of remote!
â€¢ Travel into the local Charlotte, NC office is required at minimum, once a month. Additional travel to customer locations throughout Charlotte NC (ONLY) is at 10-15%. All other work day to day is handled remote in a home office!!!
â€¢ Team members all reside within the TN, GA, VA, NC, & SC, WVA area - Ideal candidate location is NC, however they are willing to explore other interested candidates who are no strangers to this type of commute. If you're interested in relocation to North Carolina (or southern states) easy transition as you already will have a job when you land.
