The following would be ideal for a candidate but I'm looking for someone who can think on the move, understands they need to put the time in to get that six figure job with a couple years of experience.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a Desktop Support Professional to support the client environment and help customers find solutions to their technical issues as well as monitoring the servers, network, PCs and peripherals.
â€¢ Provide 2nd line remote and desktop support services to end users.
â€¢ Troubleshoot PC related problems either via phone, remote tools or desk side support.
â€¢ VVIP Support
â€¢ Warranty Management.
â€¢ Carry out IMAC (Installation, Moves, Additions and Changes) activities.
â€¢ Keep Asset Management system updated and provide reports on stock levels.
â€¢ Provide Printer Management and Support.
â€¢ Bitlocker Recovery when required.
â€¢ Complete incidents and requests within SLA in pressurised environment.
â€¢ Build, configuring and troubleshoot PC and laptop applications and hardware components.
â€¢ Ensure tickets are updated on a daily basis.
â€¢ Support meeting room environment and video conferencing.
â€¢ Peripheral Management -- Procurement
â€¢ Support printers, scanners and other peripherals.
â€¢ Support mobile devices, such as iPads, iPhones and Blackberry's.
â€¢ Blackberry Services (desktop Manager)
BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS REQUIRED

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
â€¢ Must have experience of using a Call Logging system.
â€¢ Must have good working knowledge of Windows 7/XP and related Office applications.
â€¢ Support experience of MACs would be beneficial
â€¢ Knowledge of mobile devices, in particular Blackberry and iPhones
â€¢ Working knowledge of current and legacy hardware platforms. Experience with building, configuring, replacing and troubleshooting PC and laptop hardware components.
â€¢ Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM would be advantageous.
â€¢ Knowledge of TCP/IP standards and networking.
â€¢ Basic knowledge of server/client operations in a domain environment including Active Directory.
â€¢ Knowledge of ITIL and experience of working within an ITIL environment would be beneficial.
â€¢ Experience in supporting a Citrix or VMWare VDI environment is desirable.
DESIRED EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
â€¢ Completion (or near completion) of CompTIA certifications -- e.g. A+, Network+, Server+ etc.
â€¢ Completion (or near completion) of Microsoft certifications -- e.g. MCP, MCITP, MCSE, etc.
