Environmental Packaging International (EPI) is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual with some experience to serve as a Business Analyst for EPI's proprietary redipoint software. This position offers the flexibility to telecommute some of the time.

Product & Asset Management (70% of time)
• Coordinates and implements additions, deletions and major modifications to the core redipoint solution in coordination with Department Head.
• Implements and documents scalable software development life cycle methodology applicable to core redipoint and client-specific redipoint work in coordination with Department Head.
• Contributes to the software development lifecycle on redipoint projects (core and client-specific) in the role of business analyst, including:
o Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
o Documents decisions made with researchers, software developers, executives and regulators on how to update/maintain/leverage the custom software solution.
o Coordinates the creation and maintenance relevant test datasets.
o Organizes and maintains documents, knowledge, and other internal data resources as related to this project.
o Proactively communicates and collaborates with team members.
• Writes and maintains standard operating procedures for the redipoint solution - eg, maintenance, alerts, training, auditing - in coordination with Department Head.
• Develops and maintains standard templates for redipoint artifacts.
• Provides trainings/workshops/guidance to staff to establish core competencies in project management and business analysis as relevant to the redipoint product.
Growth Areas
• Works with Department Head to anticipate future redipoint solution content and user functionality needs, identifies proactive solutions to satisfy needs.
• Reviews and gives input on proposals (or portions thereof) for redipoint solution discovery and configuration work.
o Assist in developing, proofreading, and production of printed materials for clients and marketing purposes as related to this project.
• Reviews and gives input on marketing materials (or portions thereof) referencing the redipoint solution.
• Contributes to development of standard contractual documents related to services and support provided by the company for the redipoint solution.

External Client Management (25% of time)
• Coordinates the software development lifecycle for all client-specific redipoint changes assigned; includes:
o Coordinating resources.
o Setting and managing priorities.
o Helping define and adhering to project budget.
o Providing resolution to issues [in coordination with Project Manager if one is assigned].
• Communicates effectively with external clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies.
• Continually defines ways to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
• Ensures practice delivers superior solutions.
• Provides resolution to issues.
Help Desk Administration (5% of time)
• Tracks and performs triage on technical and content issues identified by internal and external customers, individually or with the Technical Manager.
• Oversees the management of redipoint help desk activities and resolves escalated issues if necessary.
• Continually defines ways to reduce burden on Help Desk and increase user satisfaction of the product.
