About Us:

A 15 year old Orange County based MSP is in search of an energetic, motivated information sponge who isn't afraid to do anything from crawling under a desk to deploying and maintaining virtual servers. Extremely strong personal, professional and communication skills will win the day in this multi-tasking environment. This 90% remote work position will see the occasional on-site time when not responding to client contacts via email, phone and the like. Being that you are already in the IT field and posses strong experience in networking concepts, you know that IT never sleeps, and therefore, understand that the occasional evening and/or weekend tasks are part of your preferred field of work.

About You:

Experience in Level II support with many vary environments ideally with an IT Company/MSP
Outstanding troubleshooting skills. Know the answer or know where to find the answer.
Extremely professional and personable in words and deeds.
Comfortable interfacing and communicating with things that don't get plugged in ...... people.
Clear English-speaker
Time manged and organized to a fault
Multi-tasker
Information sponge
Interested in learning, becoming a part of the business and growing
Works well under pressure
Available Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Willing and able to work some evening and weekends

Responsibilites:

Provide remote and onsite IT technical support to client end users with the highest quality in customer service
Create and process all customer service requests to resolve client issues in a timely fashion
Perform occasional onsite technical support and system installation at client sites.
Utilize research tools for reviewing client documentation as needed in support activities.
Maintain knowledge base to ensure accurate articles for efficient client troubleshooting.
Thoroughly document all client support services on support tickets with items such as specific steps taken to resolve issues for example updating drivers - document current version, new version installed and where driver was obtained from
Complete technical support projects and tasks as assigned by manager.
Perform timely follow up activities with clients by email or phone to verify success of support activities when client was unavailable for review at the time of service, for example after hour service.

Requirements:

3 years of similar work experience
Strong Windows environment knowledge: AD, DHCP, DNS, Exchange
Certifications not required if you can do the job.
Reliable and insured transportation
Valid drivers license
Able to pass fingerprinting and background check.
