Established tile showroom in San Francisco's design center is seeking a highly motivated full time Sales/Design Associate to be an amazing representation of our Showroom. We are looking for a qualified person for our Potrero Hill location that will be in charge of showing clients around the showroom, giving detailed information about the products, generate quotes, and provide samples. It will be your responsibility to execute the sale from start to completion. Mostly we are looking for a motivated self-starter that is goal oriented

Typical duties include
Answers customer's questions concerning vendor, price, and use of merchandise. Service all customers and phone inquiries in the most expeditious, accurate and courteous manner.
Constantly upgrade product knowledge of all merchandise locations throughout store.
Basic understanding of computer system and able to complete customer inquiries, quotes and orders as needed. Actively utilize computer systems.
Determine customers' needs by finding requested product or selling them a related or substitute item; selling and closing sales on a project-oriented basis by demonstrating products of related items to customer and presenting promotional sales product facts, information and product data.
Exhibit the ability to service multiple customers in a friendly, efficient and effective manner.
Insure that all products have current and appropriate pricing and samples.
Job Type: Full-time Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm
$20.00 to $25.00 /hour plus commission, based on experience.
