Emerald City Attorney Network is a select group of attorneys and paralegals providing high-quality contract legal services to top solo and small-firm practitioners in the Seattle area and beyond. We are seeking experienced and thorough paralegals and/or legal assistants to work for our clients on a freelance or as-needed basis. We are especially interested in candidates with experience in small law-office organization and administration, and availability for occasional work at our clients' offices during normal business hours.

Candidates should be diligently detail-oriented and clear, effective communicators. Our contractors are expected to work independently on projects and promptly submit quality work product to hiring attorneys. We are also always interested in skilled attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals who we can market to our customer base. If you are knowledgeable, responsive, and reliable, we likely have a place for you.

Successful applicants will work as independent contractors on an hourly basis at competitive rates within a small network of other talented professionals. We find the opportunities for you. You take work when you are available on the projects that best match your interests and skillset. (You are also encouraged to take your own clients or work as your own business outside of our network.) Solo practitioners, stay-at-home-parents, retirees, and any other paralegals or legal assistants looking for engaging part-time or occasional work are encouraged to apply.

To be considered for this unique opportunity for mostly telecommuting work, please submit your resume and a brief writing sample to: careers at emeraldcityattorneynetwork dot com. Please also include a short statement about your current employment, contract work, or business, and your potential availability to accept contract paralegal/assistant work, as well as the hourly rate or range of rates you would expect to be paid.
