Our company provides small and medium sized businesses with IT and telecommunications support. We are seeking an team player to join our company and provide IT support. As an IT Systems Specialist you will be directly interacting with our customers to deploy and maintain IT services. You help customers through configuration, setup and troubleshoot service issues. You will assist with servers, networking, security, desktop support, and systems maintenance.

• Answers telephone, answers email messages, and greets individuals for the purpose of providing first level IT Service Desk/Help Desk support for IT issues experienced by technology users. Provide Technical Customer Service assistance through phone, email, and ticketing system
• Direct advanced requests to appropriate team members while creating, updating, and closing corresponding tickets
• Install, configure, maintain, and monitor a variety of hardware, software, and databases from various vendors
• Perform IT helpdesk support for all IT hardware resources including servers, desktops, laptops, phones, etc.
• Document requirements, design, workflow, and processes for internal use.
• Deliver results with minimal supervision in an accurate and timely manner.
• Evaluates situations for the purpose of taking appropriate action and/or directing to appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Follow-up with customers for the purpose of ensuring technology problems have been resolved.
• Guides technology user through problem-solving process for the purpose of diagnosing technology related problems.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned

• IT industry background and/or IT education focus on system administration
• General Windows OS, Server OS, Networking, and x86 hardware troubleshooting experience
• Experience in customer service or IT helpdesk supporting end users
• Ability to install, configure, and maintain computers including hardware and software
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting network and computer problems
• Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and outgoing
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
