POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician works with others in the maintenance department to ensure efficient operation and upkeep of properties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Effectively handle property service request and work orders, correcting the issue(s) within 24 hours when possible
• Assess and repair issues including electrical, carpentry, locksmithing, drywall repair, plumbing, A/C, HVAC, appliances, caulking, interiors and exteriors
• Complete work order in BeHome accurately, timely and completely
• Interact with property owners and guest in a professional and courteous manner
• Ensure make ready repairs are completely correctly and on schedule

COMPETENCIES
• Electrical to include repair, replacement or installation of power switches, fuses, duplex outlets, ceiling lights, ceiling fans, climate control system
• Plumbing to include repair, replacement or installation of faucets, drains, supply lines, toilets, garbage disposals and clogged sinks and pipes
• A/C and HVAC to include troubleshooting leaks and replacing filters
• Drywall repairs to include filling in small holes, cracks and sanding
• Appliances to include minor repair, replacement and installation of major household appliances
• Painting to include minor touch ups following damage or as needed

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 2 years' experience in maintenance preferably in a residential property or relatable service environment
• Knowledgeable with common work order repair issues found in rental home / apartment industry
• Able to handle the stress of high customer demand in a hospitality environment
• Strong communications skills, detail oriented, resolve and complete issues in a timely manner while working in a fast paced environment
• Must be available to handle on-call emergency services on a rotational basis and work weekends
