The primary function is to develop, implement and manage the company's e-commerce strategy to increase online sales and manage the process.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Assists in developing, recommending and executing the company's e-commerce business/marketing plan and strategy.

· Oversees the company's online sales and presence

· Responsible for conveying a consistent brand image that attracts customers to online purchasing

· Manage, develop and refine website functions and services

· Responsible for integration of web services into BPS organization

· Oversees and administers online transaction system

· Develop and manage online loyalty program

· Responsible for content management

· Responsible for meeting e-commerce division sales goals

· May have a direct role in company's brick and mortar marketing strategy and implementation

· May manage one or more technical positions that will maintain the website.

Essential Job Knowledge, Skills and Ability

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Project and online sales management experience

· Experience managing a B2B ecommerce site required

· Online (digital) Marketing Skills required

· Traditional marketing management experience preferred

· Intermediate knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration

· Channel Strategy experience

· Distribution experience preferred

· General knowledge of pipe, valves and fittings preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word

· Experience in developing sales and marketing strategies

· Able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches

· Excellent organization and time management skills

· Solid analytical and problem solving skills

· Effective interpersonal and management skills

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have at least 5 years of experience managing eCommerce from the beginning stages
• Previous experience working for an inventory based company, putting together a program from beginning to end
• Experience managing direct reports/employees
• Industrial/building materials industry experience preferred
• Experience managing a Business to Business eCommerce site required

Compensation will be based on experience. Only candidates with solid eCommerce work experience will be considered. This is a remote position, but will require working at the corporate office for the first 90 - 120 days. Company housing provided. Relocation assistance available (if applicable). Only candidates who have the legal right to work in the U.S. will be considered.
