ROM3 is a three-year-old medical technology company that has created and patented a revolutionary physical rehabilitation device (see our product video at rom3rehab.com). • Participate, on call, as needed with Product Development team to review plans and spot potential safety hazards
• Identify possible hazards that could occur from use/misuse of the device
• Develop testing methods and test device to identify possible hazards that could cause injury
• Recommend procedures for detection and prevention of misuse and injury
• Develop solutions to minimize and prevent injuries related to usage of the device
• Prepare product usage and precautionary label instructions if needed
• 5 years' experience evaluating and conducting tests for safety on products, especially medical devices
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to understand and communicate design details, test strategies and results
• Must be able to provide timely and accurate turnaround on tasks, sometimes with strict deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ROM3's leadership team is comprised of successful serial entrepreneurs, and the company's current product offerings are only one part of a larger product lineup that we plan to roll out over time. That means that for the right professional, this may grow into a long-term relationship that includes a number of future projects.
Qualified candidates, please respond with an up-to-date resume, and a cover letter detailing why you are the ideal fit for this job including medical device safety that you have - similar safety consulting engagement you have successfully completed.
Hourly compensation is competitive and is negotiable based on experience, accomplishments, and proven success.
Finally, openness, honesty, and candidness are qualities we respond to--as opposed to framing things in the right way with the right words. Please be who you are and let the dice roll.
Thank you for your interest.
