KP Insights, LLC, is looking for an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper for our Leesburg, VA office. We act as an outsourced accounting & bookkeeping function for small businesses. This role will support up to 3 clients.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, payroll, payroll taxes, accounts receivable and accounts payable, benefit calculations, and bank reconciliation.
This position is part-time, but could become full time. The position will start at 20 hour per week supporting one client. The majority of work will need to be during normal business hours, in our Leesburg office, however employees are allowed to work remote and will set their own schedules.
A minimum of a High School Diploma, plus 2 years of accounting experience is required for this position.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
â€¢ Post vouchers to AP module, process payments weekly.
â€¢ Post payments to invoices, reconcile with bank deposits.
â€¢ Collect timecards and process payroll
â€¢ Reconcile bank and receipt card transactions on a daily basis.
â€¢ Input data from daily sales reports into MS Excel.
â€¢ Process monthly sales
â€¢ Knowledge and work experience with basic accounting practices and processes
â€¢ Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
â€¢ Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
â€¢ Must be able to work independently
â€¢ Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
â€¢ Must have bookkeeping work experience
â€¢ Must have Quickbooks or Quickbooks Online experience
