Propulsion Inc. is a virtual event management company that is currently hiring for an Event Producer. This is a work from home opportunity with client onsite visits to Seattle, Bellevue and Redmond, WA as needed. Must have a cell phone and high speed internet with a quiet location to work from.


The Event Producer will be responsible for operational support and delivery of live and collaborative web conference events for our clients. Using a variety of virtual event platforms, the Event Producer will schedule events, build registration pages, provide customer support, assemble reporting, moderate sessions as the broadcast host and deliver training as needed for client users.

Responsibilities •Run webcasting services for clients
•Provision webcast on event platform
•Build registration page(s) within event management system
•Hold kickoff call with client and gather event details
•Update information within webcast catalog (SharePoint site)
•Create event documentation (schedules, reminder mails, training documents)
•Drive deliverable dates with clients for collateral (PowerPoint, pre-recorded video, polling questions, surveys, etc.) ensuring that deadlines are met
•Build event invitation and deliver via Outlook or web based invite tool
•Deliver presenter training sessions to instruct presenters on how to use platform
•Moderate live webcast, manage audience questions and provide tier one user support
•Escalate event issues to support team during event as needed
•Work with in-studio video team on day of event
•Assemble webcast reporting and provide to presenters post-event
•Load replay files to web portals as needed
•Participate in and manage other activities that may be assigned

Requirements •You are an outgoing, confident individual who can adapt to various work styles
•You are proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of programs: Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook and Word
•You have worked with Microsoft SharePoint or other online database solutions
•You have 1-2 years of experience working in the event management, hospitality, guest services or collaborative web conference industry
•You are familiar with online collaborative/event delivery platforms (i.e. Skype for Business (Lync), WebEx, GoToMeeting, Adobe Connect, etc.)
•You have the ability to think of and create workarounds to problems in real-time
•You are able to develop work-arounds to help solve problems
•You have a proven ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
•You have a passion for learning and applying new technology
•You have a courteous and professional business manner and strive for great service
•You have a really good eye for detail and catch the little things that others often miss
•You work well with minimal supervision
•You have strong communication skills (both written and oral)
•You can commute to our client locations in the greater Puget Sound area
•Ideally, you are familiar with video production or radio broadcasting
•This role is based in the Seattle/Tacoma Metro area
