Legal Research Center, Inc., is a nationally known provider of outsourced litigation- and compliance & risk services business, providing expert research, analysis and writing solutions for attorneys in private practice corporate in-house departments.

Legal Research Center is seeking experienced, energetic attorneys with demonstrated litigation experience for independent contractor projects on behalf of the LRC Litigation Solutions Team. The appropriate candidate will provide consultative research, analyses and writing services for licensed litigators across the country, either on a project-by-project or recurring consultative basis. Typical assignments range from case evaluation to memoranda and Appellate brief writing on assigned cases for internal or court consideration.

• Current, Licensed Attorney (any jurisdiction)
• 2 or more years of post-law school litigation experience
• Law School Honors
• Law review experience preferred.
• Proven ability to research matters effectively & efficiently
• Desire & talent in authoritative and persuasive legal writing
• Exceptional understanding of basic legal research processes, including online legal research tools
• Accurate and reliable research methods
• Ability to follow Bluebook citation rules and project-specific style manuals
• Ability to communicate concepts and researched issues with confidence orally and in writing.
• Highly responsive and communicative
• Self-direction with the ability and desire to work as part of a team with constructive guidance and direction
• Must provide a legal writing sample to be considered
