Corner Alliance, a dynamic growing consulting firm dedicated to growing its team members, is looking for a Liferay Development Team Manager with 5 years of experience to join our Washington, DC-based team. This individual will work remotely or within the Corner Alliance offices with occasional travel to client sites in the Washington, DC area. We are looking for someone who can work approximately 20 hours/week for 6 months to support a project with the possibility for longer-term work. This could be a Part-Time temporary role or 1099 contract position.

About the Role:

The Liferay Development Team Manager will provide development and management support to Federal government clients and the internal Corner Alliance team. The role is an opportunity to join a growing consulting firm to help us deliver excellent products to our clients and grow our cloud services practice.

Responsibilities include providing development support to a Corner Alliance tool, which can be used to manage workflow and approval processes, quickly verify and aggregate information, and present vetted information to an audience. This person will manage a team of two other developers using JIRA and provide information and insight to the Corner Alliance Project Manager who interacts directly with the client.

Location: Position is remote or at the Corner Alliance offices with occasional travel to client sites in the DC metro area.

Required Experience:

1 year of experience with Liferay and 5+ years of experience in systems development

Experience with JIRA or similar work management systems

Experience managing others, and identifying and managing user requirements

Experience with conducting user acceptance testing and other system testing

Experience with running an Agile development process

US citizenship or permanent resident

Preferred Experience:

Agile certified

Ability to produce specific work samples demonstrating work in systems development and Liferay

Experience with creating and maintaining knowledge management systems

Demonstrated experience within on-site technical support in high pressure situations
