Remote Contract Position with Rapidly-Growing Medical Device Company

ROM3 is a three-year-old medical technology company that has created and patented a revolutionary orthopedic rehabilitation device (see our product video at www.rom3rehab.com). We have been well-funded, having raised $3.1 million to date (on our way to an initial $5 million raise), and are currently planning for a public offering within the next nine months.
We introduced our initial product to the market in 2016. This year, we are planning to launch a new, groundbreaking and portable version of the product. We are currently in the design phase and have a core team of professionals working to make it a success but now are in need of an expert in CMS/private payer reimbursement strategy to join our team.
This senior position will be responsible for negotiating and procuring billable HCPCS/CPT codes (or their equivalent in a bundled payments environment) along with assisting to develop product strategy. This candidate will have experience with designing and refining healthcare business models based on product strategy. The ideal candidate will have years of experience in successful negotiation with CMS, private payers, and Managed Care organizations and may have strong and well-established professional relationships with healthcare insurers.

Negotiate billable HCPCS/CPT Codes with CMS
Negotiate reimbursements with other Managed Care Organizations
Possess the skills, knowledge, and ability to strategize and successfully negotiate billable HCPCS/CPT codes with the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid for billable/reimbursable codes
10+ years of negotiating care contracts and reimbursement with Managed Care organizations
Complete and thorough knowledge of the Healthcare and Medical Device field (preferably orthopedic devices, but not required)

Compensation is competitive and negotiable, based on experience, accomplishments, and proven success. Executive-level consulting in a part-time or full-time capacity will be considered.
