Real Joy Vacations is a property management company based in Destin, Florida. We manage almost 350 properties as short-term, vacation rentals along the Emerald Coast from Okaloosa Island, Florida (Ft Walton Beach) all the way down to Panama City Beach, Florida. We have warehouses in both Destin and Panama City Beach and our headquarters is in Destin, Florida. Real Joy also has a subsidiary that has now launched in Nashville, TN, Denver, CO and Austin, TX and we manage around 50 properties in those cities as well.

About the Marketing Dept and the Creative Assistant position:
Our department proofs the advertising for all short-term rentals, creates the ads that feed to different channel managers, such as VRBO, AirBNB, Flipkey, booking.com and our website. Our dept is responsible for maintaining our properties on VRBO, in our software, and on the website. We also manage all social media for both brands and maintain data storage for all photos. We respond to reviews from guests in addition to managing the rates for the company. This position can be remote, so location is not an issue, though a location in the Southeast is preferred for marketing trips to Destin. We have the Microsoft 365 Suite including Outlook and Skype, provide this to our contractors/employees, and do a lot of training through web sessions and skype sessions. We are committed to making the department function as a team, so will provide as much training as needed. This is a new position, and this person may serve as an assistant to the Creative Marketing Administrator. This position will start as a contract position, so you will need to provide your own computer and editing software, and upon 90-day review, the position can potentially convert to an employee position.

We have a large project of reorganizing most of our photos due to VRBO's recent photo feed change so it's possible that this could be a full time position until the project is done. Or it could be part time.
Skill set Required:
Proficiency in Photo Editing is a must - Photoshop experience is preferred
Good organizational skills are required
Ability to organize our photos to our specs to showcase our properties - so requires a good creative eye
Summary of Duties:
a. Main Property Duties:
ii. The Contractor shall upload all photos used to the company data storage server.
iii. The Contractor shall be capable of editing property photos to best showcase each
iv. The Contractor shall be capable of uploading and organizing the photos to our software per company specifications to best showcase each property.
v. The Contractor will check new photos against the bed setup for each property to ensure they are being marketed correctly.
vi. The Contractor shall be capable of captioning the photos to showcase them.
vii. The Contractor may need to notify the administrative dept of new property photos.
b. Additional Duties:
i. The Contractor shall assist on Social Media platforms as needed.
ii. The Contractor shall update free marketing partners with specials as necessary.
