Bookbright Media has immediate need for freelance researchers and fact-checkers to review social science essays designed for high school students. This will be a recurring project with a predictable monthly schedule for the right candidate.

We're looking for conscientious readers who understand academic standards of scholarship and can find the answer to anything. You do NOT have to be an expert in the subject matter. But you do have to be an expert at checking for factual errors and unreliable information, and being precise about what is and is not true. Must be willing to read about and be impartial on a wide range of controversial topics such as abortion, drug use, national politics, and religious expression. Excellent opportunity for those starting out in the publishing field!

Bookbright Media is not a publishing company; we're the company that makes publishing possible.

Bookbright Media supports major publishing firms internationally with industry-leading quality in the production of books and digital reference materials. As a 12-year-old company, we're young enough to be creative and flexible, but old enough to know what we're doing. We boast a stellar reputation among the giants of the publishing industry. We are quality-driven professionals obsessed with the human pursuit of knowledge.

Bookbright provides end-to-end project management of books and digital reference materials. We provide content development, editorial services, data management, and archive development.

Our customers are some of the biggest publishing houses and learning companies in the world. We've worked with Harvard University, MIT, the CIA, the US Department of Justice, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Routledge, Gale, and University of Chicago museums, not to mention special projects with Alice Walker, Bill Moyers, Lucy Lippard, and other luminaries.

We're seeking freelancers who are passionate about learning, literature, publishing, or any other relentless, shameless pursuit of knowledge.
