Our most successful editors are highly organized, deadline-driven, and creative individuals. Working remotely requires someone who is a self-starter, but not afraid to reach out for help when needed. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous individual who can communicate clearly, stay on top of many moving parts, and balance workflow and relationships between writers, clients, and management during all parts of the editorial process.
As an editor you will be responsible for the flow of content from start to finish, on several accounts. You will work with writers in developing topics and content in accordance with the requirements of the clients and campaigns. You will edit every piece of content that comes across your desk with an exacting eye, carefully applying your knowledge and company best practices. You will communicate with the account executives regularly. You will be responsible for the organization and maintenance of editorial calendars, regular deliverables, and special projects. You will work in WordPress or other content management systems as needed, uploading and creating pages. Your days will be busy and varied, and you will need to constantly reprioritize tasks to meet deadlines across multiple accounts.
If you have the energy and the know-how to do this each and every day, read on!

Depending upon your skillset, experience, and availability, this can be a part-time or full-time telecommute position. We strive to be the best at what we do and have a culture of learning and excellence--but also a little bit of fun. We offer competitive pay, and for full-time employees, we also offer two weeks of paid time off, one week of sick time, standard company holidays, and 401K.
To apply, please send a resume and a cover email explaining why your personality, professional strengths, and prior experience make you a good potential match for our firm. Please direct your message to the Managing Editor.
We respond to all applicants with an e-mail pre-screen and request for references. Qualified candidates will proceed to a phone interview with our Managing Editor. Those asked to continue will then be given an editing test and participate in a second interview.
