You get paid a monthly fee ($1,500 and UP), PLUS expenses to be the "Supervising Electrician" for a new contractor's license issued to my client's business. They perform solar array farm construction throughout the US and need to be licensed in CT asap. They will not use your license under any circumstance.
You have some liability, but you are welcome on the jobsite anytime to inspect work, plans, specs, bids, contracts and all documents will be made available to you. You are expected to fulfill your legal obligations as a qualifying individual on the license. This company wants to do everything right and develop a working relationship with you.
I have done this for thirty years and have assisted thousands of companies and qualifying individuals to meet and work together successfully. I have an excellent agreement that protects both parties you will get to use also.
Call me to discuss any questions you may have. Check out our website also. We've been assisting contractors with licensing since 1965.
