Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties involving receiving, storing and
shipping of Diesel parts, pumps and engine parts.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
â€¢ High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
â€¢ One year prior warehouse environment preferred.
â€¢ Must be computer literate. (UPS, FEDEX, DHL, USPS)
â€¢ Ability to perform simple math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
â€¢ Ability to perform various packing equipment and material handling equipment.
â€¢ Required to drive a forklif and experience with a Raymond Lift operator a plus.
â€¢ In bound and Out bound freight control knowledge
â€¢ Physical Demands:
â€¢ Ability to lift 40 pounds without assistance.
â€¢ Will stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
â€¢ Work Environment:
â€¢ Warehouse, Mechanical Hazards, moving objects.
â€¢ Fast paced environment.
â€¢ Load and unload units and parts from transporting devices, by hand or using unit handling equipment.
â€¢ Stacks and/or stores accordingly
â€¢ Will examine stock and shipping/receiving documents against packing list to verify quantity, weight and condition of package.
â€¢ May prepare boxes for shipment by using shipping item protector or other packing equipment.
â€¢ Releases prepared shipments to trucks for final delivery
â€¢ Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
â€¢ Maintain all inventory, parts and quantities organized by designated Bin Locations
â€¢ Maintain all clerical paperwork organized.
â€¢ Consult all shipping and receiving issues with supervisor.
â€¢ Operates a forklift.
â€¢ Follows all Corporate Occupational Safety and Health Policies and Procedures. Reports any
safety deficiency to immediate supervisor.
â€¢ Follows Corporate Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
â€¢ Understands and complies with all Corporate, and Departmental Quality Policies
