Field Service IT Help Desk Tier 2/3

Responsible for both onsite and cloud based systems. Performing on-site servicing and repair of major OEM laptops, desktops, servers, and printers. Providing technical support to small and medium boutique businesses.

-Provide Remote support to clients via phone and remote control tools
-Create and update support tickets
-Accurately track your time in our ticketing system
-Be a gopher with a screwdriver
-Be resourceful and at times "Just figure it out"
-Be given the chance to prove yourself to move up to the next level
-Not be expected to know everything, but know how to find the answer

Looking for a motivated person with strong people skills that can be both independent and work in a team. This person will help with the identification, prioritization and resolution of reported problems with customers. Must have your own transportation or ability to travel to client sites across the DMV.

Basic requirements include:

-Resourceful when resolving difficult issues and situations both technical and interpersonal
-Able to communicate effectively both oral and written
-Knowledge of Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7, 8 and 10
-Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook or other Email Clients
-Wireless networking
-Printer configuration in networked and non-networked environments
-Reliable transportation

Tasks include recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up. Performs general maintenance, troubleshoots, and repairs desktops, laptops, and printers. 

-Windows server experience
-MS Exchange experience
-Router firewall configuration
-Unix/Linux experaince
-Group Policy-Managed Services Experience
-Helpdesk ticketing systems (ZenDesk, FreshDesk, etc.)
-Managed Services Software (Continuum, Kayasa, etc.)

Competitive market salary, W2 preferred! No Corp to Corp. Full time, long term! Benefits and Vacation included. Competitive market Salary open to negotiations.

• Must be 21 years old, with a valid driver's license; have and maintain a driving record clean of any major or numerous violations. Ability to drive to field / customer locations to performing field work.  You should be able to safely lift 50 pounds. You should be able to dress in a professional, biz-casual manner on a day-to-day basis. You should be able to work the occasional night or weekend.
